Awful, but friendly staff
Friendly staff...About all I recommend really
Just about everything... To be fair they had apparently only just reopened, but even so it was pretty dire. Very noisy as it's in the middle of the city. A very dodgy area with beggars everywhere and people sleeping in the street. The bed was as hard as a board and everything was 'tired'. I asked for room service at 8pm and was sent up to the restaurant where no staff were to be seen. Eventually one of the two customers(staff??) went and found a chef, who spoke no English. The manager was called who said they may be able to cook something Chinese from the freezer. I gave up and used Foodpanda instead. Breakfast was dire and I had a piece of toast and cold fried eggs as nothing else was palatable. The roof terrace was a building site... We were there because my wife was sick and needed treatment at the nearby hospital, however we moved to a different hotel for the following 10 days.

Very nice spacious rooms with huge double bed. Located near the station. Staff were friendly and helpful, booked our bus tickets to Mandalay, helped with local sightseeing etc. Good value for money.
